Reading and Literature:

BBC Animated History of Books - Both hi-tech and low-tech versions

Flashlight Readers - Scholastic hosts this site that blends books and technology with author information, book discussion, and interactive activities. (Turn down or off your sound, or be prepared to be blasted!)

International Reading Association - Includes Children's Choices, Teachers' Choices, and Young Adults' Choices - booklists.

Learning Page - This site offers free downloads of teaching materials, activity sheets, clip art, mini-books and monthly themed worksheets.

Lil' Fingers Storybooks - This site is for toddler-age children. Check it out!

Reading A-Z - This site will allow you to look around before you subscribe. $29.95 per teacher per year buys a district site license.
