Exemplary Curriculum Web Sites: Language Arts: KUAT - PBS Kids Go to School - This free, online workshop for K-5 teachers offers strategies for integrating PBS TV programs into the curriculum. The content is arranged by topic and grade level. Library of Congress - Poetry - in all content areas SCORE - Connecting California's Classroom to the World - Language arts section under revision Reading and Literature: BBC Animated History of Books - Both hi-tech and low-tech versions Flashlight Readers - Scholastic hosts this site that blends books and technology with author information, book discussion, and interactive activities. (Turn down or off your sound, or be prepared to be blasted!) International Reading Association - Includes Children's Choices, Teachers' Choices, and Young Adults' Choices - booklists.
