George Lucas Foundation:s

The George Lucas Educational Foundation's (GLEF) teaching modules were developed by professional development experts and education faculty. They're formulated for use as extension units in existing courses, as well as for independent use in workshops and meetings. The Project-Based Learning, Assessment and Technology Integration modules work together as an introductory series.

For a deeper understanding of effective technology integration, explore the modules focused on using technology in mathematics, science, language arts and social studies curricula. Resources and lesson ideas for each of these subjects are at http://www.glef.org/foundation/courseware.php

The newest module, developed by a classroom teacher, integrates a digital microscope into pre-K through 5th grade science instruction. It also demonstrates how ISTE Curriculum Integration lessons can be adapted for different elementary grade levels. Go to http://www.glef.org/modules/EL/index.php
