Ask a Scientist - This site, hosted by the Howard Hughes Medical Institute claims that no serious science question will go unanswered.

Discovery School.com - Curriculum Center - Science topic Web support for: bacteria, chemistry, electricity, genetics, magnetism, oceans, solar system, the Universe, weather, climate and viruses

Earth Day Network - Changing articles for students (projects and case studies that involve children and the earth) and a "Teacher's Corner"

Emperor Penguin Pathfinder - Resources to support the study of emperor penguins

ENC - The Eisenhower National Clearinghouse for Mathematics and Science Education (ENC) offers curriculum resources, professional development materials, and other information and products to support K-12 mathematics and science teaching and learning. The site features a monthly "digital dozen" of exemplary Web sites.

EPA Environmental Kids' Club - This site, primarily for elementary students, deals with the environment; there is also a content-rich high school section and a section for teachers

History of Foods - This site has great resources as well as lesson plans to support the study of foods.

Surf Report: Natural Disasters - This site includes links to up-to-date information information from FEMA as well as links to kids' Web-published work.

Windows to the Universe - This informative, attractive and fun is available in both English and Spanish.
