Skeleton outlines for our reference book readings are posted here. These outlines are to guide your reading. Filling them out will assist you in selecting and evaluating children's literature and participating in class discussions and online dialogues. Use the titles mentioned in each chapter and the bibliographies at the end of each chapter as rich resources for quality children's literature.

Outlines must be completed BEFORE each class meeting. They are worth five participation points. If you miss a class, you must turn in your outline at the next class period only; it will be worth at maximum of two points. You will earn zero points for outlines completed during the class discussion.
