There are 17 poems in Desert Duets: Sonoran Desert Poems for Two Voices; one "how to" poem and 16 poems with Sonoran Desert animal characters. The poems were written for two readers or two teams of readers to perform. In addition to being fun to perform, the poems include factual information about the animals. The poems help readers learn about animals while they practice their oral reading fluency skills.

We're Ready and Waiting for You!

This book is a celebration of educators who create a welcoming place for learners. The format is unique and reflects a metaphor for learning. (No more hints...)
